Ah, The Ivy League and Stanford! Despite the fact that current admission rates mean acceptance to one of these schools is the educational equivalent of winning the lottery and that, by definition, there are never enough spaces to go around, many parents demand that their children at least apply to one or more of what I refer to as “super-reach” schools.
